As Feng Shui gain its popularity in recent years, many people know Feng means wind and Shui means water. However why did the Chinese used Wind and Water to represent the studied of locating and arranging the environment to improve ones fortune and minimize ones misfortune?

Feng Shui has 5,000 years of history, and it was originated from the Ancient I-Ching study. To little as you might know, Feng Shui, like many other Chinese Metaphysics studies, was one of the highly confidential knowledge that only the emperors and the few selected high-ranked government officials have access to. Hence, Feng Shui was not commonly known to the public until Master Yeung, who was one of the high-ranked Metaphysics researchers in the government.

After Master Yeung stole one of the most original Feng Shui books from the state, and research and practice more deeply, he passed his knowledge to Master Liu and Master Tseng. As a result, throughout the 5,000 years of Feng Shui history, only Master Yeung, Master Tseng, Master Liu, and Master Ly were the famous masters in the field.

Feng Shui is a very powerful studied of science with its ability to maximize ones fortune and minimize ones misfortune. Therefore, masters with the true knowledge will rarely pass their experience unless they can find the RIGHT students. Likewise, the books that most famous masters wrote would not reveal all the true knowledge very plainly because they want to avoid misusing the science. This means that studying Feng Shui by purely reading will mislead the readers; and this is one of the reasons why there are so many different schools of Feng Shui out there.
