The Museum of Transport in St. Louis has possibly the most diverse collection of railroad equipment in the United States, from GE44Tonners to the Union Pacific Big Boy, this museum has a vast array of important, and unusual railroad locomotives and cars, I highly reccomend if your in the area to visit this museum, I hope to visit again in the near future

  • Wth was that chassis siting on a flatcar in a tunnel shed?

  • @rboffill That is an actual tunnel the first tunnel into St. Louis but I have no clue about what locomotive that chassis belongs to

  • Sweet photos Hunter! I see so much great American railroad history, from the N&W class A coal hauler #2156, to the big boy and the DDA40X! Wow great job!

  • @Alwaystrains I hear they have made some changes since I was last there, like they rigged the Big Boy up so you can ring its bell now

  • @Alwaystrains And 2156 is actually a Class Y6A 2-8-8-2

  • @trainboy94 Noted.

  • @trainboy94 Sweet! Big boy #4014 down in LA has an on-board air compressor so you can ring it's bell and blow it's whistle!
