My name is Jennifer Paquette, and I was born with spina bifida, with which hydrocephalus is extremely common. I was not given the estimation by doctor's that I wouldn't live, but my parents were told I would not grow mentally, and that I would grow to be a virtual vegetable. I'm happy to say 19 years later, I'm going to college. I have watched this video and feel a special attachment to the story being told by it. My baby has hydrocephalus due to extreme prematurity and a grade 4 brain bleed. She is now 13 months old and has had 5 revisions. We were told there was no hope but we have continued to prove them wrong. Bless your little angel and I hope she is doing well.
