the top 2 comments are a FACT, no doubt. DB5K is one of the main reasons why other kpop artists have had it easier to debut in Japan since 2 years ago. i remember seeing a video of them when they FIRST had stood on a stage in Japan in 2005. a litte wooden stage. they had to start from scratch as newbies. barely anyone was clapping and noone knew who they were. now, they're considered as Gods of KPOP not only in Korea but other countries as well. i'm so proud of them :) HoMin&JYJ<3

kpop artist these days can debut in Japan rly easily, u know why? cuz DBSK paved the way with their own sweat, blood, and tears to debut in Japan, and made it easier for current kpop artists.
They are the most popular non-Japanese artists in Japan. They're so freaking famous! other kpop artists dont stand a chance. srry.

We can say that they paved the way because they did...who do you think started the "hallyu wave" to Japan?
It wasn't until TVXQ got massively popular in Japan that many of these groups started to follow them there.
Why do you think they are following HoMin around now?
The Japanese let it be known that they weren't interested in Kpop acts until TVXQ and the only reason they let them into the Tokyo Dome is because of them.
Its been written in articles.
Its a fact.
