They (or some of them) have quite noticeable Russian accent, so are probably not fluent speakers of Karelian. In purely linguistic sense it's very questionable to say that Karelian is a different language rather than one of Finnish dialects. If such classification is made it's more politically motivated than anything else.

I think it is not Finish group. My thinking they are from east-Karelian, what is in russia. language is karelian dialect.
