Just finished some hills and ponds so I wanted to show some current work. I also discuss some possible combinations of hills to produce more variety for the table top.

  • All hills are not created equal, yours look like they came right out of some English countryside. ;) Great information and I appreciate your passion for this often overlooked (at least in my gaming area) art form. On a different note, do you get your polystyrene from a local home improvement store or do you order it online. If so, would you be willing share where you get it from? Thanks, and continued success!

  • @terrainapprentice Thank you. I just use the standard foam insulation boards sold at Home Depot. (pink) I've looked around online and locally for other suppliers and varieties, but in the end its what I can get reliably.

  • I got a Quartered Hill and I like putting on the Verdant Buttes on them...They look really nice as well and are just as good for LOS.

  • @AngryBogle Oh, good call. Nice variation. I'm glad they are working well for you. :)

  • As usual your work I love. Got to look again at your site. But, just as a question have you done a rocky hill that also has a pass built in?

  • @437cosimo No I haven't. I'm doing a slightly improved version of the scree hill right now and two of those might suit that purpose. I have been thinking about a new larger hill (2 part) with impassable areas and a cave entrance for the near future as well. :)
