A planned resettlement of IDPs on a land in Endebess, Trans-Nzoia county, has once again run into a wall of resistance after local residents literally blocked the move. Over 255 IDPs from Alko, in Rongai, Nakuru County found themselves stranded on their way to the promised land, as the residents opposed the resettlement, saying squatters from the area should be given priority.-- And as Sally Mbilu reports, this is not the first time the government's planned resettlement of IDPs is running into trouble.

  • @olyeti :

Very good observation - let the IDPs go back to Rift Valley, from where they were displaced ...or even better take them to Central Province - there is plent of land in Central Provice !

  • Kenyatta Family owns 1/4 of kenyan land!!! y cant they just give these kenyans a few acres and end this? we all will die some day we wont live forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and we'll never take any of those acres with us!

  • @olyeti these IDPs never had land in the first place. the ones who had land already went back to their farms long time ago

  • I just pray they can finally settle. God bless you IDPS

  • since there is peace now in Rift Valley let the IDPs return to their lands . I thought the KKK alliance was about peace
