The opinions these people have formed are why video games are used as scapegoats, and EA is using that to market it? And your point doesn't make sense. How would a less hardcore gamer know that the game isn't just being grotesque when this is the image that the people who published it willfully put out? And yes, EA could change people's view if they just didn't do that! Gears of War is gory, but they didn't emphasize that in their commercials. They emphasized passion and tension, not this crap!

This is exactly why EA is the worst company in America. They took these mothers, sat them down and made them watch the goriest parts of the game play out out of context and then filmed their reactions. The opinions that these people have formed as a result of their irresponsible actions are reasons why video games are blamed and attacked so often. And EA is using that for marketing purposes? And to children no less? There's nothing redeemable about this. EA, you're going to destroy the industry.
