Russia plans to deploy missiles near Poland

Russian president Dmitry Medvedev said Russia might deploy short-range missiles near Poland in response to a proposed American missile defense shield in eastern Europe. Prior to the announcement, he sent President-elect Barack Obama a telegram offering congratulations and expressing hope for a constructive dialogue.
Timothy Frye, a professor of political science at Columbia University, speaks with Martin Savidge about the severity of the plan, the effect of the Russia-Georgia conflict and ways in which dropping oil prices will affect Russias assertive stance.

@polygamous1 : Yes. I will of course correct you. The Poles did NOT send the cavalry against the panzer divisions. This was Nazi German propaganda to give their weak soldiers a little more courage. Shut up you liar. Russia is no brother of Poland. Czechs, Slovaks, Hungarians or Lithuanians are our real brothers.

You forgot to mention that Russia occupied and enslaved Poland for almost 200 years from 1795 untill 1989, stole half of Poland territory and murdered 20 thousand of Polish military in Katyn, sending others to Syberia for excile and work camps. Is this what brother does..??
