March 13, 2011 -- Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan said that the tsunami disaster which hit Japan last Friday is the toughest crisis in history since World War II. This tsunami disaster had paralyzed the various spheres of life in Japan.

"Within 65 years after the end of World War II, this is the most difficult and most difficult crisis for Japan," he said at a news conference on television, as quoted by CNN.

He said, Japan has a lot of trouble in the past. However, he said, the difficulties can restore the welfare of the people who has built by his government.

"So related to the earthquake and tsunami, I believe that Japanese people can unite to work together," he said.
