Posting on YouTube Using iMovie

This is a quick video tutorial to post your video if you edited it using Mac iMovie software. This is for the older, and far superior iMovie software. If you have the newer '08 version, go to Apple.com and download this version for free. Your videos can now be up to 1 GB (1024 MB) but still need to be less than 10 minutes. This allows for greater quality.

You have to export it as a Quicktime movie to your desktop after your project is complete. Use either .mp4 or.mov. Things have changed a bit since I made this clip. You can't load your iMovie project directly to youtube, it is too large. Is this what you were asking?

dude my video got its audio removed by copy right

im using a macosx lepard and i used i movie to put the audio on but my audio got removed because of the copy right

please help me so i can put a video with music without getting it removed by copy right

If you use a mix of some sort it might not get caught but if it is the original song, it probably won't last. It really depends on the artist/label. Some don't seem to care and others are all over it immediately'

What does it do after the 14 seconds? Have you watched the video on your computer before you upload it to make sure you are not uploading a faulty video?

How can you change it so one can upload more than 10 minutes for ones youtube movies with imovie now that we can do up to 15 min videos?
