Ye, this was genuinely good stuff, but I can't help but think if H.BeamPiper had written more, there would some documentaries here on YouTube for me to watch of him as well.

Thanks for putting this up, really enjoyed it, having read a lot of his novels. Also the Brian Eno music was perfect for it.

An insightful documentary about the brilliant and troubled writer Philip K. Dick. I watch my DVD`s of "BladeRunner, Total Recall, Minority Report, Paycheck and A Scanner Darkly" with a whole new respect..That, like Goerge Orwell`s "1984" ( sadly he did´nt call it "2004" )..These writers warned us of " Hi-Tech darkness" that was to come... As we look at our 42 inch plasma TV. Our small lap-top computers..Then out to the streets of seemingly endless surveillance cameras.. "Big Brother"..Watches..

Indeed ! I only read a few short stories about 4 years ago an' never realised who he was before that ! Total Recall ( We can remember it for you wholesale ) Bladerunner , Minority report . etc. By reading any PKD story , you're taking a bit of a journey an then some . I'm kinda glad most of my freinds have never heard of him

Thank you for this!! PKD was a modern day prophet. We are living out one of his novels as science fiction becomes science reality...
