It's time to go back in time with NextG! This series of vintage advertisements, promos, and bumpers was captured from a recording of the 1965 thriller "I Saw What You Did" that aired on April 28, 1987 on WFLX, channel 29, in West Palm Beach, who had just joined the Fox network as a charter affiliate. I hope you enjoy it thoroughly. (This footage was archived from the original VHS tape to DVD, and the footage was then ripped from the DVD using MacTheRipper software. Thanks to NextGeneration Enterprises, a company spun off from the original NextG Project that is now owned by Cameo Films' parent entity, for providing us with this extremely rare footage.)

PART 2:
1. Encore Cinema bumper
2. "Today in Music History," apparently a syndicated featurette, featuring Mitch Miller. This was the only way that I was able to figure out the exact airdate of this material.
3. Clorets commercial.
4. Tucks commercial.
5. Attorney David Singer commercial. Many people in South Florida seem to remember this commercial.
6. MatchMaker International commercial.
7. New England Tech commercial. (NET is now known as Lincoln College of Technology)
8. Encore Cinema return bumper.

  • @penske13 LMAO...nice XD

  • @nextg i was on the way home from school one day in 1990 and somebody had been in an accident. our bus rolled by them real slow and for some strange reason i got up and poked my head out the window and yelled 'YOU BETTER CALL DAVID SINGER!!" THE WHOLE BUS FELL OUT!! they didn't stop laughing until i got off the bus.

  • @penske13 "It's unbelievable. It's late at night, everyone's gone home, and David Singer's working late AGAIN."

    You're welcome :)

  • we used to laugh our asses off at the david singer commercials. god ....i can't believe you got one of those up. thanks .

  • @sygo7g Well, I've seen enough of it to conjecture that it must have been a really good time :)
