@YaYanSKR As the Creator of "all the universe including human beings, He is Father to all and demands respect to have His Word and Laws followed, just like you would expect in your own household. Yahwah, our Creator, has a covenant with His creations, a family covenant; and when family members stray, do evil things, worship object gods, He has every right in His domain to be angry and to discipline. Those who defiled Yahwah's Laws deserved the harshest discipline.

@Matrix29bear Shalom, Matrix. You point out well how the Philistines (Palestinians in modern times) came from somwhere else (Crete) and occupied the Canaan land which has always been occupied by Yahwah's chosen people.

If you want a real puzzler solution, look at the ancient Hittites. Look at their territory, structures, "bovine worship", and technology and names. Now look to INDIA. Look hard. Hitties = HINDU geneline.

The Sea Peoples (Philistines, Spartan architecture) = Greek geneline. Both genelines well known for building great huge cities of high art and recording their works, peaceful to weakness. Jewish geneline = long-known city stealers & deceivers, not builders or boats, just takers.

Since these cities were logically built by the Greek geneline and Jews had no useful long-range siege weaponry (aside from the lethal radioactive emitter pile in the Ark of the Covenant) using mainly deception & slingshots and knowing the sea-going Greeks were famous for their long-range siege weaponry, then the Sodom & Gomorrah destruction has the highest probability of a long-range canon flaming-ball Greek attack from the Dead Sea for some unknown motivation with moron Jews documenting it.

Also refer to the Wikipedia entry on "Philistines" (another 5 great Greek cities - Gaza, Askelon, Ashdod, Ekron and Gath, but these bordering the Mediterranean sea). Obviously Greeks and enemies of the Jews. High probability that the "Canaanite" Pentaopolis (Latin word) cities which included Sodom were also Greek. Knowing that the great builders of Egyptian monuments were Greek also points to both Pentaopolis city groups were Greek as well.

Supposedly "Greek Fire" was invented in the 7th century, but the basic mixture of Pitch (tar) + sulfur (brimstone) was well known long before then. It is also highly probable that the Greeks were waging war on the Pentapolis cities (Adamah, Gomorrah, Sodom, Zeboim, and Zoar) for some reason. Otherwise, since Sodom was near a limestone hillside, these flaming tar + brimstone balls could be dumped on the city from above causing the limestone city to ignite. Sea attack seems more likely though.

Jews are infamous city destroyers (either to slaughter the inhabitants to occupy the city & it's treasures) or to simply destroy the city outright (Jericho). All one would need do a city had limestone brick walls would be is to make balls of sulfur, roll in tar mixed with crushed limestone, let harden, fling over walls while lit with fresh light oil, watch as your enemies burn. Or with Jericho, pile at base of walls, ignite with light oil, laugh as your enemy's limestone wall crumbles.

Since the high sulfur content (wrapped in limestone) is unlikely to have occurred via volcanic or meteor sources, then man-made is much more likely. Greek fire (flaming substance that floats on water, secret substance burned great, destroyed ships) is very well known historically as being around the Dead Sea in abundance for "punishing the wicked" in the Jewish Encyclopedia (under "Brimstone"). Now we have two possible attackers, Jews & Greeks.

there was noted that balls of limestone (outside) & sulfur (inside) (AKA "Primitive Gunpowder") rained down upon both cities. It is also noted that natural sulfur is only 40% pure from volcanic sources. A sulfur/limestone meteorite is also unlikely (averages 2% + burns up too fast in skyfall). So what comes to mind for a famous flaming attack method? GREEK FIRE. Sodom & Gomorrah were by Dead Sea & perfect for a sea attack.
