WOW..truly dumbfounded for your total disdain for our fighting men and women..this man obtains a PhD from Princeton and choses the nobility of serving his country and tries to right a wrong by fixing this disater in Iraq..and you call him a mindless militray zombie..what would you call him if he became a self fulfilling venture capitalistic prick? Your logic is so distorted. We have a obligation to that country. We created a instability which left that country unable to govern itself. What does a withdraw do? Create a civil war and leave tens of thousand of people killed. You keep on proclaiming we shouldn't be there, 5,000 US deaths later I think we all realize that. Here is what you fail to realize..WE ARE THERE...DEAL WITH IT..it's called progressive thinking ..what progress is made if keep on saying 'well we shouldn't be there'

I think that General Petraeus is one of this country's greatest Generals. He's a real patriot and hero for his service in the protection and defense of this country. General Petraeus doesn't deserve to be criticized or treated like a villain because he commanded U.S. and Allied Forces during the Iraq War. Lara Logan is a really great journalist and a very beautiful girl. I've always liked Lara and I was outraged to find out that she was beaten during the riots in Egypt.

Here is your logic..a man drives drunk, wrecks his car and is put in intensive care..do we say "well he shouldn't be in that situation to begin with"..then deny him necessary medical attention.we are not settling, we are accepting the challenges we have on our hands, you offer nothing productive to say yet boast a solution plan that would leave Iraq in a civil war...and substantiate your initial answer "well we shouldn't be there"

And what is your station that you can TRULY substantiate your claims? The only true results would be leaving period. Which is why it doesn't matter his qualifications especially with regards to whether or not he is a "physical specimen" because he will just raise his salute like any other mindless military zombie and we will still be stuck. I refuse to settle for "hes the best if were going to be there" Placation. That type of thinking is why we are stuck there PERIOD end of story.

Your original statement was "we want results" than I substantiated my stance with significant marks of improvement in Iraq, then your stance quickly became "well we shouldn't be there"..which BTW is not the issue and I never justified this war..you have cemented my belief that you are absolutely clueless in regards to the real situation there...
