If only this video was up 2 years ago. I've been reverse wavedashing and stair stepping because I couldn't get this down. They get the job done, but this seems much more efficient. Great job.

@ERUTROTSINEP This technique works perfectly with Sway characters. As long as you get the notation as per this video you can backdash easily. I am a Paul player myself. You dont need to use u or u/b. Just d, d/b.

@ERUTROTSINEP oh, and also, you could have shown how to utilize this technique with sway characters like paul or bryan using u, ub instead of d,db.

i'd like to say that this is mostly applicable on the ds3 as it has a very loose d-pad which loosens even more over time. other controllers might not be so lenient, like my ds1, which has a very rigid dpad. but i can bdc very fast with it nevertheless.

This way of backdashing is also known as Korean backdash (KBD). I haven't seen it on a pad yet (I'm kbd'ing on a korean stick, so yeah). This is a very useful tutorial for pad players, nice job.
