@FoPo4 I guess he didn't care for D.H. Lawrence? ;)
Shame, great author...after all, who doesn't want a "real woman"...like Celia?
"Of course Celia shits! Who doesn't? And how much worse if she didn't."

@AlexBlackRecords Actually, the original Indiana Jones films take place in the 1930's. At that time, China was still under control of a Nationalist government. Although unpopular, it wasn't tyrannical as the Communist leadership which took over in the 1950's was.

The dialogue in the beginning is in Shanghaiese, but the song is in Mandarin.

You know.. I hope Steven Spelberg is reading this. You are capable of directing all genres. You are soooo capable of directing musicals. How about 42 Street or Anything Goes?? Come one man.. You did a outstanding job doing Anything Goes. Please....

"Good authors too who once knew better words
Now only use four-letter words
writing prose
Anything Goes!"
Cole Porter - 1934
@MetalSnakeUtah I was told it was shanghaiese by a colleague who was born and lived in Beijing until he was in his 30's. But I'm sure wikipedia is far more accurate than someone who actually knows what they're talking about. Also they state that it's shanghaiese in the "making of" on the DVD. You're probably right, though.
