South Florida Lindy Exchange - Swing Dance Event

Swing dancers from all over the world will descend upon South Florida on January 13-15, 2012 to attend the 11th Annual South Florida Lindy Exchange (SoFleX). SoFleX is a three-day dance event organized and hosted by Swing Affair, a not-for-profit swing dancing organization in South Florida. This event attracts East Coast Swing, Lindy Hop and Blues dancers from across the globe to meet, mingle and dance the Martin Luther King Jr. weekend away. Dances take place all day and night in various locations from Fort Lauderdale to Miami.

SoFLeX is proud to announce its powerhouse lineup of live music, which will be featured during the main dances throughout the weekend. Nicole Henry, LeNard Rutledge and the All-Star Band will be returning to headline the event on Saturday, flanked by the soulful Juanita "Bluuz Mama" Dixon opening the weekend Friday and the sultry Christabel and the Jons closing the weekend Sunday night. A la carte pricing is available for those who wish to attend a particular event during the weekend. Non-dancers are welcome as well! A la carte pricing for the live bands is $25 per person.

Early-bird pricing for the entire weekend begins at $59 for the first 50 paid registrants. Admission will go up to $69 for the next 75 paid registrants, and $79 for the remaining advanced registrants. For those who would rather pay for the weekend at the door, pricing will be $89. A la carte admission is available to those who wish to attend only a few of the events.
