Colleges Week 2010 - Lloyd Gardner, Business with Management FD, Gloucestershire College/Nexus

Lloyd took a step back from education after completing his A Levels and worked in the telesales industry for 18 months, where he was able to learn the ropes of the business world. He decided he needed an industry qualification to help move up the career ladder and is now studying a Foundation Degree at the college's new Nexus building, with the aim to progress onto the final year of a BA Business Management course at the University of West England (UWE).

Lloyd said, "The Foundation Degree courses are ideal for creating pathways for students to progress toward university study. The Nexus building is a great place for me to settle back into education and study towards my business qualification with Gloucestershire College - it's a new and modern environment and has all the space and equipment I need."
