The only reason you hate Yankee Stadium is because your half-assed organization of a baseball team built a larger park. The Mets understand that their annual feeble picthing can't keep the ball in most parks, so this was their brainstorm to counter that problem.

i was at this game as a twins fan. i definitely didn't want this to happen but it was easily the coolest and most exciting moment in my life. shit was crazy

That home run would have only tied the game if Phil Cuzzi had made the correct call in the top of the inning. But no, Mr. New Jersey has to make a hometown call to help his beloved Yankees. Revenge in 2010.

I only wish I caught Teixeira rounding the bases, as he rounded 1st he threw his gloves in the air I believe or something white went flying in air. This was a great moment.
