The new channel design is not a problem, because it's UGLY (some people even like it this way...), but it's killing individuality and destroying our community, since almost every option for channel hopping, socialising and communication will be eliminated. "Broadcast Yourself"? This will be 'water under the bridge'. The new motto is: "Generate clicks for the company - on the double!" Let's show those guys that they have reckoned without their host! Let's stand united! Let's fight for OurTube!

I completely agree with you! The new design looks awful, ugly, and plain boring. Just gray and cold, very uncomfortable to use. >_< Besides, the old style was (is) so much more easy, more clear, and more versatile. New design style of channels are not as beautiful nor practical. New design is a long step back, just an innovation for innovation's sake...

Just for information, if some people doesn't know:
On this Friday, 16th December 2011, will be the worldwide PROTEST DAY against the NEW DESIGN of YouTube. Just BLACK OUT your channel for 24 hours, close all modules and change all colors to black. During that time, do not log on to YouTube, and make all your most viewed videos private. Thousands and thousands of youtubers around the world will join in this silent protest against YT's new design!
