I'm born and raised in Sweden, I'm actually in school and we can choose to learn American or the English accent

Dude you are the one who need to get your facts straight. In Sweden we mostly learn the Enlish accent.

each school can decide for themselves if they want to teach English or american Accent / words, my school teaches both. and alexander has probably become so good at american english

that he now speaks it natuligt.

It depends on the individual. I have been mistaken for an American several times when I´ve been abroad. The American accent comes more naturally to me, but that could have something to do with the fact that I was basicly raised by my tv and American sitcomes.

You are so wrong. The Swedish schools teach the kids the American accent and mock the English one. Get your facts straight. I was born and raised in Sweden.

other than the way he says mississippi (he says missippi as if the second iss is missing), his southern accent is spot on. we don't sound like forest gump. most of the accents on true blood are about as far from how true southerners sound as you can get. especially anna paquin and the rutina.

and while we do call people bubba, i've never come across a sookie.

what do you mean by saying we "don't like the american sounds"?

an absolutely ridiculous assumption, and entirely untrue.

Well, the thing about American accent is that in swedish schools they teach the kids the English accent and not the American. This because they don´t like how the Americans sounds when they speak.

So basically all Swedish kids learn the English accent and joke about the American accent. Besides I have been to America 2 times and I only knew how to speak english the second time. And then most of the people LOVED my accent and the polite way of speaking I learned in school.
