Im a girl and Im straight and i actually like some yuri animes over others. I think its because us girls are very emotional and because its like a "forbidden" love it makes it all that more intense and the relationship much more deep. Especially the yuri Kannazuki no Miko. That anime actually made me cry, I never cry, ever. So thats saying something. Hope that kinda answered your question ^.^

I'm a girl and I like both yuri and yaoi. I'm not sure why I like it; it might be because I'm bisexual, but I've liked it since before then. I guess it's just beautiful. I'm not a homophobe, or even a heterophobe. Love is for the person, not the gender, IMO.

I like yuri, and I'm a girl, but I also like yaoi. I can't really describe why I like it... I just like the touching, romantic relationships that you don't always see in straight pairings, or in yaoi pairings. I agree with Firebirdx31, yuri definitly has a "forbidden" element to it.

Yami to Boushi to hon no Tabibito was the first yuri series i ever watched. It is a great series, very deep and makes you ask alot of questions, but like KnM it fills in all (or most of) the gaps right at the end. Burst angel is my most loved anime series and the manga also. It's just everything about it, yer there could be more of a shoujo-ai story to it, but then again you don't know what series 2 is going to bring :D

The drama factor in yuri is really geat.Yuri is acctually aimed toward women. I just watched Kannazuki no miko and I cried at the end. And the Burst Angel magna has been awesome so far. It kinda takes watching a good one to understand the appeal.
