On June 20th - 22nd, 150 children with diabetes from around the world traveled to Washington D.C. where they pushed federal lawmakers for more funding and research towards a cure for and managing type 1 diabetes. They met with celebrity advocates who also have type 1 diabetes, such as Crystal Bowersox, Gary Hall, Kendall Simmons, Carling Coffing, Dr. Natalie Strand, and many others! They sang a song on Capital Hill entitled "Promise To Remember Me", the theme song of the Promise To Remember Me Campaign, attended a Town Hall with the Supreme Court Justice, and met with their state congressmen and senators. This video is about Hannah, who was the New Jersey delegate, and her experience at Children's Congress 2011.
