I was in a stage musical of this in 1993 playing the Roddy McDowall character.. we got a better review than the touring Broadway prod. of Hair! lol it was very zero cool!

I've never seen "The Cool Ones" but I think what's going on here is, this new dance ("The Tantrum") was introduced on national TV and probably that first couple (at least) was hired to perform it at this swingin' club. And then, the rest of the hip teens get right into it by freezing in place when the music stops. So pretty soon, it'll be the dance sensation that's sweepin' the nation.
