  • She won't be truly yours until she's got a ding or two. Then she'll melt in your arms and become part of you.

  • I love your comment.

Since I made this video, and despite my best efforts, she has acquired a couple of minor dings. And so have I, come to think of it.

    We are acquiring character together.

  • GREAT guitar.

That GIBSON JJ 200 must be in Heaven.

    Cool trick

  • So far, the only damage this guitar has suffered has been via special effects software- not a single dent from the coffee table or anything. But it's only a matter of time until she starts incurring some character marks, I'm afraid...

  • dumb!

  • Not really- dumb would have been actually doing what Hendrix did without the aid of special-effects software.

  • Actually, you could actually do this if you were careful. Hendrix coated his guitar in lighter fluid, so just the fluid would burn and not the guitar. You can even put lighter fluid on your hands and light it, and it won't burn you (that's a trick some old smokers use to get out nicotine stains on their fingers). Wouldn't really advise risking it with an instrument like this however.

  • funny

  • Favorite and some starrs to boot! way cool! dan

  • what a false flame!!!
