@Iraqveteran8888 Brassfetcher finally did a ballistic gel test of a cutshell. Seems to act like a giant prefragmented round (eg mag safe, glaser, quik-shok etc): very large cavitation, with relatively little penetration. If you're interested, the slow motion video is here: watch?v=lGwGI0IMSgI

@Iraqveteran8888 It doesn't necessarily mean it went through a target, a bad barrel or a bullet that is too long to stabilize in the firing rifle's twist rate can keyhole the first intended target without impacting anything on the way... a keyhole is just a bullet impacting sideways and leaving a target with what looks like a 'keyhole' lol
