Why I am an atheist

For some reason, Christians always tend to attack my atheism. I made this video to explain the reasons behind my lack of belief. I think I will direct every Christian who messages me to this video. Maybe then they wont jump to conclusions.

I know that I start to babble at the end.

I think religion can be really harsh, it has been to me when I was young & still is, I still believe God exist, like you said he WON'T send you to hell...because he is you, god is inside of you, the ego is what doesn't let you see god in everything.Christianity is confusing & contradicting & I understand why people become atheist because the view most people have of God is illogical.

I don't have an ego towards god. I have asked many time in the past for any kind of answer from god. I have never received any kind of message from god. I don't believe in god because I see no evidence that supports the claim that god exists.

Raiden, we've had very similar experiences. I also went from Christianity to Neopaganism to atheism. As Douglas Adams said, "Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without believing there are fairies at the bottom of it?"

Religion like Christianity deals with things that are "abstract'. Things like love/hate,hope/dispair,faith/d­oubt,joy/grief,meekness/anger,­gentleness/harshness,goodness/­badness,peace/conflict,time/et­ernity e.c.t. These things excist but are abstract not concrete Like time present is concrete,but time past(history),time future(prophecy) are abstract A head&brain are concrete but the mind&memory in a brain are abstract also dreams are abstract Remember being taught concrete&abstract nouns in school

In the former USSR1917-92 atheism/evolution was taught daycare-university The Bible was banned&it was illegal to teach it to kids Within months of the fall of the USSRin 92 the Bible was put back in Russian schools Olga Lutsenko an atheist was the one behind it Death threats made her leave to Canada in 96&she is a Christian now BTWshe is on youtube&I support her work financially putting Bibles in Russian&Ukranian schools The Bible 75 years absent from Russian schools now back for 20 years FYI.

There is another aspect of religion of the Bible than Judaism/Christianity&survived into the 20th century In Bible-Adam thru to Abraham&really to Moses Job in the book of Job lived centuries before Abraham but had the same God Cornelius in the book of Acts was neither a Jew/Christian,nor pagan,heathen, or infidel, but was "devout" This devout monotheism was the first religion in all early human history Most peoples frell away from it but some held it to the 20th century Eternity In Their Hearts.

John Wycliffe1330-1385 who translated the Bible from Latin to middle English in 1382 felt the Bible should be in the tongue&hands of the masses In 1442 his remains were dug up&a trial was held condemming him His bones were burned to powder&dumped in a river I read his lifestory&have the book Evil men in high places put the Bible under lock&key over 1000 years Most clergy&all laity had no access What Wycliffe did then was illegal but was never caught It would be 143 years more til mass publishing

The Bible has been accessible to the masses less than 500 years William Tyndale 1498-1542 was the first to mass publish Bibles using a printing press in 1525 Some of these Bibles have survived til now They cost a man a week's wage He smuggled them to England from Belguim He was a wanted man,betrayed&caught,tried&exec­uted in Brussels1542 Before it took 10 months to handwrite a Bible Tyndale spoke 9 languages I read his lifestory&have the book The path for the masses having Bibles was long&bloody.

religion, jesus on the cross images, are devices of guilt. shame on you for being born.

just look to ancient history. the symbolism shows where these ideas came from.
