This is a video i put together of how to beat the Hydra (this is both parts) - i cut out the reaver fighting in between the parts. Hope this is useful to people.

you beat him by dodging the rockets using the left thumbstick. After 700 tries i figured it out and now feel like an idiot.

crap ending to a reasonable game! i own gears of war 2 and killzone and i'll tell you this killzone piss's all over gears from a great height! i thought this was supposed to be a flagship title its pants
