This is it !!! As a kid I used to watch the NHL Power Week and I remember I saw highlights of the Devils and Avs series and I liked this moment. It was a Stanley Cup final game 7 and Avs just scored their 2nd goal, and Brodeur had to try to stop the rebound so he threw himself across to make a save and even though he did not, since that moment I have been idolizing him :)

  • yeah sure but I if the D-man had covered him, Joe Sakic may not have scored and I´m actually happy that he did score cuz the rebound forced Marty to jump across which I loved and thanks to that jump, I became the biggest fan of his...it could have been anyone else, but I just saw Marty trying to prevent the puck from going in and I just said to myself that this is gonna be my number one goalie. I was 11, now I´m 21 and I still love him.

  • That's cool how u became a Marty and Devils fan from this moment :)

  • it should be what if the D-man actually covered his assignment once Marty made the initial save....
