MASSIVE is a sonic monster -- the ultimate synth for basses and leads. The analog concept belies the contemporary, cutting-edge sound it generates. The high-end engine delivers pure quality, lending an undeniable virtue and character to even the most saturated of sounds. The interface is clearly laid out and easy to use, ensuring you will have MASSIVE generating earth-shuddering sounds from the very first note.

  • @machineromance Basically what you do - is you name it to whatever you want, then you bind this macro to a control on your midi controller - which is usually done via your selected DAW. Then, what you do is you drag the macro number to a parameter, and set the amount of which it can vary via that macro by clicking the number once it's on the parameter and pulling up or down.

  • @machineromance Iwant to know this too!

  • how do you do the things with the colors, like the blue and yellow thing

  • could someone help me: how can You configure/change the macros? like, when i click on new sound, there's only one macro on #1 called vibrato. how can i choose the other 7? cause they're preselected in presets..

  • thanks for posting these. you are a very good presenter.

  • You can also midi map to designated keys on your keyboard in massive through most audio production software. Or assign them to your regular computer keyboard as well. I usually assign various samples to keys (not in massive), rather than effects mainly because as you said they don't work very well without knobs. Either way you can get by without knobs,I think its a bonus but not a necessity.

  • yes you're right. u can just use the mouse

  • yes u can use a regular midi keyboard

  • Thx for posting! sheesh over 4 thousand views and not a single comment!

  • do you have to have a midi controller keyboard with massive(like oxygen 8 with the 8 macro control knobs) or can you get by with a basic cheap keyboard(like a casio CTK-496) that has midi in-out sockets, but no knobs for midi control? i'm thinking you could control the soft synth macro controller knobs by mouse...am i correct? i just want a temporary way to use massive without a proper midi controleler keyboard with knobs. i'm new to softsynths so clarification here is much appreciated.
