Zero bitch, fuck the longhorns, go big red!!!!!

btw if you listen carefully you can here a ref blowing the whistle stopping the clock right as it hit the ground

2 years later and husker fans are still butthurt over this.... GET OVER IT. YOU LOST END OF STORY. IF THEY SAY THERE WAS ONE SECOND THEN THERE WAS ONE SECOND... these refs weren't idiots, they've done this before.
-
I don't have a dog in the hunt, but it does appear that 1 second was left.

@wintersnowstorm9 the whistle blew with one second on the clock. So the referee blew it dead with one second. You fail.

the thing is if we had just kicked the field goal instead of running that last play, then this wouldn't be a problem. instead we ran that final play, and now nebraska fans have a reason to argue that they should've won, when really that game was clearly ours for the taking. I would also like to add that it was Nebraska who kicked it out of bounds to give Texas the ball at the 40 yard line, and it was them who let us into field goal range. they should be blaming themselves, not the clock.

The teams who are leaving the Big Twelve and the teams who are refusing to join the Big Twelve are doing so because of how the conference operates. Actually look at how the system there works. The only program that has an opinion in what goes on is Texas. They run the conference and other programs are getting out because it's a monopoly.

shut up thats why you guys moved to the big ten. Every time Texas played you they beat your ass

Intelligent people understand time and how it counts down. if you think there was a second left on the clock, then you need to go back to school.
It doesn't matter when the ball hits the ground, it matters when the REF calls the play dead. The ref did not call the play dead, there for the game was over. That was the rule, up until they CHANGED it after this game.

Good grief people... The clock counts backwards not forward. So once the clock hit 1 second, there was not 1 second left... there was LESS than a second left. Sure the clock said 1 second- had they been using a clock that showed milliseconds, they clearly would not have had a second to put back in the clock.
