A move towards self-sufficiency for both feed and cattle supplies has ensured one Central Queensland feedlot has weathered the big dry and come out in front.
Lion is a beast, panthera is a beast, snake is a beast, untamable, unusable, best in nature, left alone. Cows, goats, horses are very useful and tamable, becoming partners in human maintenance, and in return they just need to be protected from hunger or any other harms. We can use them for our interest, but we must satisfy theirs as well. Otherwise, it is called exploitation. Think. They have their natural lives, and don't need us to survive, hence, we shouldn't kill them. They are independant.
And you know all this by reading ancient stories? Please. You ignore the nature, that's the human trait, and humans are capable of inflicting worse kind of deaths and pain onto each other, so nature balances itself this way. We slay animals and then more powerful humans come and slay us. Look at the world around us, just killing and wars. I know you'll never make that connection because you don't want to try living witout violence. I wish you all the best, but I don't expect, knowing the law.
No connection whatsoever. There are plenty of animals that eat nothing but plants, including elephants, zebras and millions of others. What connection are you drawing here? Humans have a free will, unlike animals. That's what separates us. If YOU declare yourself as an animal, is the only way I can agree with your animal slaughter. But then take no offense if those who consider themselves humans treat YOU as an animal. There IS a big difference between us, but you chose to ignore. That's human.
And you will have to experience that for yourself to be able to say such things with so much assurance. Arrogance in the presence of ignorace is a sword around your neck. You DON"T know how they feel. You only know how YOU feel, no one else, let alone another specie. What you think they feel or not is simply your limited observation biased with your desire to eat their flesh without any need for that. Who told you humans are meat eaters? Look for the comparison table on the net and then speak.
It's not contrary to nature; Just the reverse: it's completely natural. Animals eat other animals. Lions eat wildebeast and zebras. Fish eat worms, insects, and other fish. Snakes eat rodents, insects, and other snakes. And humans eat lower animals such as cows, pigs, goats, chickens, etc. That's natural. The difference is that we have the capacity to want to do it humanely.
Nazis didn't think much of jews in WWII when they were taking them to their slaughterhouses. They didin't really see their fears and agony, not much detections was going on simply because it was in their national books they were studying at that time. In the Genesis God never mentions eating animals, just dominion. But God clearly prescribes plants and seeds and fruits. Meat eating was introduced later, when jews complained about their diet. God was never happy with meat eating. READ the bibile.
Beasts have no emotions. They may experience fear at what is being done to them, which is why it should be done quickly and humanely, but they experience no emotional suffering that their "children" are being slaughtered. They don't even realize it's happening. Don't be ridiculous.
Irrelevant. If I own the water, energy, and space, they're mine to do with as I please. And being that humans are meat eaters makes expending those resources to obtain it logical. Any differences in disease rates can be explained by the WAY we raise and slaughter animals, not just that we do so.

Men are MEN and beasts are BEASTS. We know what emotions they are capable of, which is darn few. They're BEASTS, put here for OUR USE.

You can't expect to be taken seriously if you compare humans eating meat to Nazis killing Jews. And man ate meat as early as Genesis.
