@MrRob77 No they don't there are some democrats that want to immitate other systems way better than Canada or the UK. Soem want the French system. But the system that "obamacare" is more related to is the Japanese system. In Japan they have UHC too buts its a hybrid system half nationalized, half private. This way more effective than single payer.

I was born into a single parent household to a mother that only had a 9th grade education. We were extremely poor even by small town KY standards.

Many people are poor because of their own laziness. Everyone is not entitled to a wonderful life. There are things in life that people need to work for.

I am no longer poor because I saved, worked, and studied my way out of poverty. There is no reason why others can't do the same, but there is no incentive to when they are given handouts.

@MrRob77, it's kind of funny that you call people not having the means to see a doctor in times of ill-health, a scare tactic by the Obama cabinet. I say it's funny considering the scare tactics the previous administration used to scare the population to go to war in Iraq. How's the bill for that looking these days? Try $701,000,000. How many sick people would that treat? As for the NHS, look at it this way, It's not perfect, But compared to the US, It shits over anything they have in place
