This is a scene from the movie "The Black Hood" starring Wakayama Tomisaburo (from Lone Wolf & Cub/Shogun Assassin fame). This is how ninja movies should be! No ninja magic and no random back flips!

  • where can i get this on dvd?

  • @samuraiboxer29 For best quality and great price go to kurotokagi. com They have a huge selection and I can't recommend them enough.

  • @hanzo138 thank you soo much... do you suggest this movie? or is there a better one that you suggest?

  • @samuraiboxer29 Well this movie is very story focused. If you want awesome ninja's doing ninja stuff, I would suggest the movies Castle of the Owls, The Detective Fencer, Ninja Hunt (1964), Seventeen Ninja, and The Third Ninja. They have really awesome strait Samurai films as well and if you are a Sonny Chiba fan they have the best Streetfighter three movie set.

  • cool vid...does anyone know how many movies are in the Shinobi No Mono series? i know there is like 8, but i heard there was more...does anyone know about that?

  • @Chimaster7 Nine total, but only the first 8 have Raizo.

  • @Han893 most of kenjustu and battojustsu studied by ninja are based on tradtional samurai artforms, they might have special methods but basicly most of ninja were samurai's or studied their methods. the scene seems quite authentic from a histrocal and martial art point of view ^^

  • I love all the ninja experts in the comments hahahaha
