Xbox 360 slim buzzing noise!

Had this since launch, installed fable 3 and this horrible sound was coming from my 360

It was a flaw with that console, had a replacement and it was fine, now have the gears of war console, epic.

I returned this console a while back and got a glossy slim to replace it, no problems with it. I will however be getting the gears of war 3 console next month.

Really? It does do it with fable 2 also.

It does it with a few other games such as halo 3, odst.

I know that by installing them that the problem goes away but even then it's still there but not as loud.

It's the intake fan hitting something..

i had mine for a year and it did this and then after a couple weeks of not using it the noise left

its the fan just tilt it a little bit and itll work fine

@lysynozownik normally i'd say yes but it could be that the game is badly programmed and the frame rate drops regardless.like sonic unleashed,throughout the werehog playout i had issues like this (when i still had my 360 pro model)and i already had it installed

@lysynozownik my case exactly.although it does not sound so painful as it does on this video.absolutely normal however do not worry what we both need is a hdd so that we can install the game reduce the sounds.and btw the uploader had the sound even after the installation.so worry only if you get a drive,install a game and it continues to sound abnormally loud

Really guys does it matter? Are you actually listening to your Xbox 360 while your playing. I'm not.

i don't think this is a problem to worry about even though it "kan" be very annoying. Everyone is having this problem including me & my xbox isn't even 6 months old. i thought this new xbox was supposed to be "silent" way to go microsoft. I'm getting a ps3 this friday!
