Music from the german 1966 movie Mord und Totschlag a.k.a A Degree of Murder. The soundtrack was composed by Brian Jones of the Rolling Stones and was sadly never released on it's own. The sound quality is horrible but the music is beautiful.

  • Been looking for this for ages.

  • Many have, including myself. I looked for 12 years and finally got it. It's a big shame that it didn't get a proper official release.

  • @M4000D Yeah, Anita was always quick to remind him that she once was with Brian. She even had a picture of Brian by her be during her time with Keith.. It's not easy to compete with a dead guy.

  • Nice presentation! I've got this movie on DVD. Would love an official album release of this soundtrack. Don't know where, or if, the masters exist; a bloody record company should know that sooooooo many folks would buy this soundtrack!!!!

  • Beautiful "reprise" of Main Theme with recorder... hoping to see it released someday at last!

  • It really was Brian and Keith's song, Keith's girlfriend Linda Keith dumped him for Jimi Hendrix. Linda Keith later became Brian Jones girlfriend. Linda later married John Porter

  • with his marvelous eclectism and just plain chops this was the direction he need to head, if I may say so, jus' listen to his contributions on "Aftermath". What kept him from what should have neen a great career scoring films/incidental music etc.?

    God Keep brian

  • How many times have I read on here that Brian could not write music. What a load of crap. It is well documented that he helped Keith write the music for Ruby Tuesday.

  • Also has Jimmy Page on guitar making it double win
