@tostoday I don't really prefer one over the other, I use GNOME Shell because Fedora 16 has it by default.

@MegaRusshich Games is the only reason I still have one Windows 7 computer. Linux and Mac OSX is on the other two.

Somehow, I still prefer GNOME Shell 3.2 in Fedora 16 over the Mint 12 desktop and Windows 7 .. when users of tostoday and InfinitelyGalactic get their hands on F16 I would like to see how they compare it with Mint 12, Ubuntu 11.10 and Windows 7.

How about a video comparing LXDE vs Xfce? You could put the latest Lubuntu up against the latest Xubuntu.
