jim could do anything even in a tux, to bad the audience would only accept barbara, judy,tallulah etc and he was talented in his own right but rarely able to perform as himself as the personality cults live on just a observation not a condemnation

Didn't really need the costumes.....so talented and grand enough without them.
Imagine how much time and money you would have saved Jim !
We had the same manager who's since passed away and was from Long Island.

PLEASE tell me Jim has a DVD out of his best performances. Eagle Rock recently released a compilation of John Denver's concert performances from the 70s to the 80s and they did an excellent job restoring tired video footage of JD.Maybe they could do the same with Jim if he could get the ok for the legal rights to the footage.

What is amazing, quite apart from the visuals and acting skills, is the quality of the vocal range....for a man to sing in a woman's range, and with such power, is unbelievable...and very hard!!!

come on! the guy is spot on!!! He IS a man after all and he is an impressionist... he isn't the real thing but makes you think he is in most performances...
