This one has been updated...several snags that were really bugging me have been fixed...still a few more to go...

A sketchUp model of the famous Fakestrasse Dachaufbau by CH. I chose this because it was the hardest thing I could think of to model, and I wanted to stretch myself. This is modelled in SketchUp 5, and and rendered out in SketchUp 4, because of 5's famous Shadow Volume bug.

There are still a few problems with the model, but I'm determined to get around to fixing them one day...

@Pajijic Rendering doesn't mean that it's photoreal: 'rendering' is simply the production of an image by a computer. Ever heard of cartoon renderers? Cel renderers? Clay renderers. Educate yourself.

Or maybe I did it not 'just to reproduce' it, as you so disparagingly put it, but rather because I wanted to understand the structure and the detailing? Do you think?
