  • High on style, low on choreography, borrows & invents in equal measures. A real hotchpotch, beautifully sown together in the sound department.

  • I'll be the first volunteer to be turned into a cyborg.

  • @uh8myzen I think it is definitely a strong contender for the best film ever made...And I actually think it bettered the novel in many ways...the idea of Mercerism in the novel is interesting, as is the animal theme, but there is no characterization of the androids at all...and it just seems a bit confusing and muddled at times...the story with Rachael just seems a bit daft...It's still a great book, though...

  • @SROCeallaigh Blade Runner is and always will be one of the best sci-fi/dystopian films ever made. Its not as good as the PK Dick novel its based on, but as movies go, its definitely top notch. It may not be the best film ever made, but definitely a classic, especially when put up against much of the witless cutter drivel of today's Hollywood which is so bereft of thought it actually kills brain cells to watch and DVD's should have a surgeon general's warning in the opening credits

  • @toph1980 I think that western and asian movie styles are inherently different and incompatible. You should see the korean trailer here: watch?v=aaC5ZzKwD84

  • I was told NC is similar to Blade Runner but it looks way cheesy. Next!

  • @SROCeallaigh its become cool to hype the shit out of blade runner in recent times, it showed promise but was very boring, no amount of neon signs could change that fact. best film ever made? no, just... no.

  • @DeLaramier What drugs have you been taking? Blade Runner's probably the best movie ever made in my opinion and is a generally flawless film...how can you not enjoy watching it with the gorgeous Vangelis soundtrack, the great, well acted characters, the brilliant set pieces and all those neon lights and signs?

  • @StandardofPurity It's not a copy, it seems to build on it (haven't seen it yet), like so much of especially Asian sci fi...Blade runner is the blueprint for most cyberpunk films...thankfully there have not been many in the way of rubbish clones of blade runner...

  • Blade Runner wasn't fun to watch... maybe this will be. Substance or not.
