I printed out the lyrics for 'Children Will Listen' and posted it over my computer for would-be teachers. It's the thing that every teacher should know. And it's a brilliant song, and Maria Friedman is just an incredible singer and actress.

@MichelaSings NO. She made me want to be the narrator... I LOVE THIS CHICK :p

@BernadettePetersx3 No worries, I tend to defend everything Maria does haha. Bernadette is fantabulous :) I do really like her version of this song, she has a wonderful voice.

@hannmrfitz I'm sorry. I wrote that a long time ago, when I defended everything Bernadette did.-_- I'm not hating on her. I'm sure if I watched more of her I would be amazed. |:

I love the soft tone of her voice, It brings a such sensitivity to the songs she sings.

I met Maria this week, she is a wonderful and beautiful person :-) So much love and respect for her!

Holy.... i totally JUST realized this was the narrator from Joseph... (this was before looking at the comments) Good grief. I knew she looked familiar!

Maria Friedman looks ill, like swollen neck, shes still amazing, but ill on this occassion i suspect
This is so great. But I'll always remember her as the somewhat-creepy narrator in Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat <3

This is completely amazing. I was in this show, and although the introduction and middle parts aren't canon, I think they add to the song. With the original, you have a setup of two acts. This adds that much more, without that.
