  • @Stephanjnj he was wasted. that's why his vocals were lower. he didn't need it loud anyway

  • I believe this is the version that will be coming to Rock Band.

  • i like the last waltz version robbies strap breaks and then his guitar tech comes on stage just like what happened to eric but worse check it out on my channel

  • Richard's voice is pretty much gone by this point, which might explain why Levon's and RIck's vocals were featured more prominently on The Last Waltz.

  • @MrDukemeister hate to say it but you're probably right. It's a shame because they really were a band and if Robbie had a little more insight and respect for the other members I think he could have went a lot further than they did, especially Garth, I mean come on man, give the guy his dues, the guy's brillant, especially on this song.

  • Listenend to this again, shone a new light on it, never relalized how bad-ass it is!

  • @MrDukemeister never thought that way but you are probably right!

  • @stjo4 Garth usually used a Lowrey Festival or Lincolnwood that he modded himself, running through a pair of Leslies. :-)

  • @TPG3471 I think Robertson was too insecure to let Chest Fever make it ontoThe Last Waltz because the song belongs to Garth Hudson.

  • @Paulacygne I think it's a Lowrey organ, but I agree.
