@TheYoungKISSER the APM counter is part of the "yet another build order tester" (YABOT). you can download it from the resources tab on the sc2builds website

So looks like it will work best with long attack distances and you know that your not going to be hit by a timing attack or some huge push before you can get into your comfort zone
