Holy Crap dude! This is awesome!! I was thinking about covering this song, but could never figure out that first fill in the chorus. and I Dig the Vistalites. Ludwig always made awesome drums.

it kind of sounds like the kick doubles up a few times during the song, is it just remo bass head? i've herd they're not all that great, or is it the microphone picking up off waves?

I don't know exactly what you mean but it's a Remo Clear Powersonic head. It's an ok head, it gives me that punch I love.
And also of course the mic helps on that sound you hear.
