It's such a shame to see that Shepherd's motives behind Obey aren't more well known. Nowadays, kids just wear Obey because it's trendy and they think it'll give them "swag". The messages and the meanings behind his art are overlooked now, and all people see now is a logo on a shirt, not a message to everyone to question everything.
