While waiting for ATN M175, I took the time to get some shots of this dangerous crossing. There are no lights or gates here and this is a blind crossing. The Westbound (toward the camera) drivers have a good view of the tracks toward the North, but otherwise there is no visibility.
Many drivers take heed to the situation here and stop (Alabama law is to stop at all RR crossings) but several do not. Far FAR too many folks assume that a train will not be here when they cross the tracks as you will see. That assumption proved very wrong for one unfortunate driver this past November. The pickup truck he was driving was struck by a Northbound train. Evidence of this collision can still be seen in the area.
There are two crossings in Albertville that I really think need at least lights. This is one of them. The other will be shown in another video.

Great video,Im doing some night videos ,im having a problem with my cam going in and of focus ,but not during daylight hours,any ideas?

Night shots can be tough. My camera does the same thing. I usually end up setting it to manual focus and set the focus on infinity. Works well as long as you are not within 20 feet of what you are filming.
