Can Wii games be played with gamecube controller ? or only gamecube games and just some of wii and virtual console games can be played with it ?

Mine has worked fine for a while, but recently it's been either auto-moving to the left, or auto-moving to the right. Can anyone help? It has become unplayable now.

I absolutely love my wave bird. I bought it when it launched and its still working. I use it with gamecube and Wii. No problem. I would actually love to get another one but they are really expensive on Ebay
What is the scroll wheel thingy under the controller?

@jhsevs That is a selector switch for the RF channel. The receiver that plugs into the console must be set to the same number as the scroll wheel on the controller. There are sixteen possible channels.

I have a little question is a playmax gamecube controller a third party?
SuperAJ2002 2 months ago
@SuperAJ2002 As far as I know, the play max controller is a third party item, although it looks nearly identical to the official controller. I've never used one, so I can't speak about it's quality. Thanks for watching!

@AnarickTheDevil I suppose its true that all types of hardware can last a very long time if taken care of. My consoles are all in excellent shape, right down to my 2600. I guess my point was that the experiences people have while playing video games tend to stick with them if the games are good. The consoles themselves are at least susceptible to damage or malfunction. Anything that operates with optical media is especially prone to failure at some point, even if it is extremely prolonged.
