A tragic love story. Before he ships out for duty in Iraq, Jack enjoys a vacation in California's Anza Borego desert with his wife Maya. Some months later, after Jack is killed in action, Maya returns to their romantic spot, high atop a cliff, to spread Jack's ashes. Now she falls under the spell of a dark depression and contemplates ending her life in the desert spot where she and Jack were once so happy. -- Dedicated to all who have lost a loved one in Iraq.

When I made this film 4 years ago soon, I could not know how important it would become for it's anti-suicide theme. So many soldiers are losing their lives at their own hands it's epidemic. Our returning soldiers need our love.

  • wow! cool imagery...I hope things like this can happen for all survivors of this horror we wreak upon ourselves....

  • Lovely, lovely. Thank you.

  • This is an excellent film, the message is emotional and the scenery beautiful. But sadly how often has this real drama been replayed down through the millennia of mans history. How long will this never ending drama be replayed in our future?
