I missed my copy of Melee, so I got used to and loved Brawl. Now I can go back to my Melee days. Played a round, and I forgot at how fast Melee was! lol I gotta retrain myself, since I have been away from Melee for so long.
Well, I cannot wait for this project to be completed. For now, my friend and I will be enjoying the demo. Keep up the good work!

@poolduckypoolducky That would make sense because we would just use melee to fuck around and do the gravity glitch and the single player. I never got to a super competitive state with melee, Brawl is really where I started to actually get better at Super Smash Bros. I did notice that combos and keeping someone with you and not letting them escape was more well defined in melee but I never got to explore that part of the game or really noticed it.

@Orlhajoetoe Melee is mostly about opening someone up using mobility, and when you get on someone, keeping the pressure. It's a much more aggressive game than Brawl because one hit can blow the opponent up. It's almost like ST in that way, since both games punish you HARD for getting knocked down.
It's not just about being flashy. I'm not a huge fan of Melee's gameplay (My thumbs still hurt from pressing that damn L button all the time), but it certainly took as much brains to play as Brawl.
